Privacy Policy

The Queensland Overseas Foundation Inc.’s (QOF) privacy policy complies with the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) embodied within the Privacy Amendment Private Sector Act 2000.

Your privacy is respected by the Foundation and personal information will be handled in a sensitive manner. Personal information collected on the application form and the evidence documentation supplied with your application will be used for the purpose of selecting scholarship and bursary winners and will be provided to the Executive Officer, the Selection Panel and Members of the Board of Governors of the QOF.

The applicant’s name, industry, qualification and the subject of the award may be provided to the media as part of a media release at the time the awards are announced. These details may also be used to promote the Foundation’s awards with the media.

The applicant’s name, industry, qualifications and subject of the award will also be published on the Foundation’s Website in order that the community-at-large can easily access the reports and benefit from the QOF experience.
