2027 QOF Scholarship & Global Connections Bursary Applications – Key Dates Announced

The Queensland Overseas Foundation (QOF) is pleased to announce the key dates for the 2027 Scholarship Program and Bursary Program.

QOF Scholarship Program – 2027 Key Dates

The QOF Scholarship Program supports outstanding Queensland apprentices, trainees and vocational graduates by providing funding to undertake valuable international industry experience.

Important Dates

• Applications Open: 24 August 2026
• Applications Close: 27 September 2026
• Shortlisted Interviews: Late 2026 / Early 2027
• Award Ceremony: March 2027
• Overseas Placements Begin: Throughout 2027

What Happens Next?

Once applications close, all submissions will be carefully reviewed by the QOF Selection Committee.

Applicants who are shortlisted will be contacted to arrange either a face-to-face or telephone interview. Following the interview process, successful recipients will be announced and recognised at the QOF Award Ceremony before commencing their international placement during 2027.

Global Connections Bursary – 2027 Key Dates

The Global Connections Bursary provides Queensland educators and industry professionals with opportunities to undertake international professional development, attend conferences, participate in study tours and build valuable global industry connections.

What Happens Next?

Following submission, applications will be assessed by the QOF Selection Committee.

Successful applicants will be contacted once the review process has been completed and will receive further information regarding their approved international professional development program.
